speech in virginia today after spending the weekend drawing huge crowds in florida, and president obama is in california where last night he poked fun at his lack luster debate performance last week. he gave a nod to the performance at a star-studded event included stevie wonder and katy perry. >> they perform flawlessly night after night. i can't always say the same. >> the president is expected to raise more than $9 million during his two-day swing through california. >> and mitt romney has a big day. expected to elaborate a little more on his foreign policy, and he will speak to fill in more details as to that plan that he laid out a couple weeks ago, but that's going to happen around 11:00 eastern. >> and only 29 days left to go. but you have to wonder, too, with the 67 million people watching that debate, the race has gotten fighter and it's a fight to the finish. two weeks ago it was looking bad and bleak for romney and it is amazing how the wind has changed and romney has the wind at his back, and obama is scraping to get back into this thing, and the numbers since wednesday nigh

performance tonight? >> i think what we saw was the birth of an issue that, with five weeks to go in the campaign, is going to make its appearance, but a big appearance. they debated about this unnamed board of 15 people concerning health care. it actually has a name. it's in obama care, it's the independent payments advisory board. i predict we're going to hear a lot about that in the remaining weeks and that the american people are going to not like what they hear about it. the authority it will exercise unchecked by congress to effectively ration health care. there are arguments for it and against it. but it's going to be debated and it's going to, i suspect, i know political prophesy, i'm committing it, i think it's going to be a remaining part. >> we love it when you commit it, george, and thank you. on one point, both campaigns run, they didn't want their candidates to come in angry or contentious, particularly and they didn't seem rattled. they did seem gracious to each other and i said we would get back to this, the big winner of all, maybe, big bird. there is now a facebo
